Strengthening cooperation between small and medium-sized industrial enterprises in Italy and Türkiye was the objective of the Italy–Türkiye Business Forum held in Rome, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE Agency.
Cooperation between Italian and Turkish SMEs represents a strategic opportunity. Complementary production systems, favourable geography and long-standing historical ties make Italy and Türkiye natural bridges between Europe, Asia and the Mediterranean.
One of the day’s highlights was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Confapi and MÜSİAD. The protocol aims to facilitate knowledge sharing, encourage the adoption of best practices and promote business competitiveness in international markets.
Through this agreement, Confapi and MÜSİAD commit to developing joint initiatives, fostering meetings between companies, joint training programmes and shared promotional activities in international markets.
